A journey through nature, architecture, and history
Konjic is one of the oldest towns in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located along the banks of the Neretva River, nestled between the mountains Prenj, Bjelašnica, and Bitovnja. With a history spanning over 4,000 years, Konjic is a unique blend of natural beauty, rich history, and warm hospitality.
Our location on Boračko Lake is the perfect starting point for rafting adventures, mountain hikes, lake visits, and cultural tours through Konjic.
• Prenj – Known as the "Bosnian Himalayas," this iconic mountain boasts 11 peaks over 2,000 meters.
• Bjelašnica and Visočica – Scenic plateaus and viewpoints, ideal for family day trips.
• Bitovnja, Treskavica, Crvanj, Zelengora – Pristine nature and diverse trails for hikers of all levels.
• Boračko Lake – A natural glacial lake at 405 m elevation, perfect for swimming and fishing.
• Jablaničko Lake – A 30 km long artificial lake, popular in summer for swimming, boating, and fishing.
Just a few kilometers from the center of Konjic lies Tito’s Bunker — one of the largest and most secret military facilities from the Yugoslav era, constructed in total secrecy between 1953 and 1979.
• Size: 6,500 m² with over 100 rooms and command areas
• Capacity: Built to support 350 people in complete isolation for up to 6 months
• Security: One of the most expensive and tightly guarded secrets of the former Yugoslavia
As part of our tourism offer, we organize guided tours to Tito’s Bunker with professional guides.
During the visit, you’ll explore command centers, sleeping quarters, communication rooms, and the intricate systems that were hidden from the public for decades. Today, the bunker also functions as a museum and hosts exhibitions of contemporary art (Biennale D-0 ARK Underground).
• Location: 3 km from the center of Konjic
• Tour Duration: 1–1.5 hours
